Welcome to Pâte Sucrée YYC 🤍🍩
What started as a dream during the pandemic has now found a place to call home.
For four years, Pâte Sucrée YYC was proudly home-based. We created donuts from our apartment, took preorders every week, and welcomed customers who picked up their boxes right outside our building, rain, snow, and everything in between. Those moments built the foundation of who we are today.
Finding a suitable storefront wasn’t easy. For four long years, we searched, waited, and almost gave up. Last January, we were even prepared to move to the U.S. to start over. But then, in 2025, an unexpected opportunity came up the chance to take over a lease. And just like that, everything changed.
Today, we’re incredibly proud to welcome you to our very own storefront at

Pâte Sucrée YYC is run by a husband-and-wife team (Nelson and Kimberly), built on passion, resilience, and a deep love for our craft. The heart behind our donuts began with my wife formerly a pastry chef in Dubai whose creativity and dedication sparked the idea to create the fluffy, filled brioche donuts you know and love today.
Through preorders, late nights, early mornings, and countless batches, you supported us. You believed in us before we had a shop, before we had a sign on a door and for that, we are forever grateful.
Now, we finally have a home.
And this home is for you, Calgary.
We believe you deserve these donuts more than anyone else, and we’re honored to be given the opportunity to serve you this city, this community with our creations.
